1. Review the exam guide

2. Training

Prepare for the exam by exploring online training, in-person classes, hands-on labs, and other resources from Google Cloud.

3. Sample questions

Review sample questions to familiarize yourself with the format of exam questions and example content that may be covered on the Data Engineer exam.

4. Schedule an exam

Register and select whether to take the exam remotely or at a nearby testing center.

Recertification

Certification is valid for two years.

If you are renewing your certification, you can choose to take the shorter renewal exam or the standard exam starting 60 days before your expiration date. Once you have chosen either the standard or renewal exam path, you will stay in that path until you pass or your certification expires.
